It’s raining. We have our coats on, we carry our umbrellas, and the windows on the tram are so dewy the outside world can’t see us.
We hurry outside as soon as the rain stops.
The National Museum is bathing in sunlight and people are having coffee on the stairs.
I buy a cup of coffee here.
And wander around in my city.
It’s right before the negative degrees hit us and the flowers will have to give up.
But I have decided to keep summer. Just a bit longer.
So I brought these flowers home with me.
I like to carry them around wherever I go in the apartment. They’re next to me when I’m writing, and in the morning when I wake up.
